When I decided to take on this photoshoot I knew I wanted to do something different I hadn't tried before.  Playing with light in my images is something that I have always wanted to do more off but haven't felt confident enough to pull it off.  I did many test shots at home before figuring out my camera settings that I needed.  I didn't have the floor space in my house to get the motion effect I was looking for, but felt I just needed to fine tune it once I was properly set up.  It helps having an energetic dancer that was willing to jump and run for hours, in order to get the turn of the head right, close enough to the second curtain external flash at the right time, and also nail the timing from A to B to get the light drag etc.  In the end she nailed it with preciseness and I couldn't have been more happy with the results. Definitely something I will play with again.
