Hi, I'm Madelein! I live and work in Santa Clarita Valley, CA mainly as a high school senior and family photographer. I take on a limited amount of theatrical and business studio/environmental headshots, as well as private parties and corporate events/functions each year. I absolutely love working outdoors, using mostly natural light, but will pull out external light in a heartbeat if it means adding that magic touch to the photo.

I was born in Sweden but came to the USA as a young adult and started to work in the fast-paste fashion industry after having graduated from FIDM (Fashion Institute in LA) and stayed there for many years. My family is my everything. I found a need to transition my work to allow more control over time while balancing work and family. Photography is something I have always gravitated towards and it was an easy transition for me after having left the fashion world, to move in that direction. The kids are now older so I am devoting even more time to my growing business. We have an active household, each one with its own creative outlet and a boxer who has LOTS of energy.  I love a glass of wine with dinner and surrounding myself with good friends while finding solitude hiking in the mountains with our crazy dog.

I keep things relaxed and easygoing. I want you to have a good time. I'm always open to pushing creative boundaries. For me, it is all about the connection when I photograph.  I want to see who you really are when you interact with your spouse, family, or just have a moment to yourself.  My favorite images are always those unnoticed moments, the unexpected perspective, and capturing your unique personalities as faithfully and elegantly as possible.
