Summer in Ventura!

My very first photo shoot of 2024 was dedicated to Summer. She is a high school senior student at Trinity Classical Academy in Santa Clarita and is also certified by the Royal Academy of Dance in ballet, so it was important to incorporate her love of ballet into our shoot. Summer will be staying in California for College and looking forward to what is in store for her once she graduates high school in just a few months.

With a love for the beach, it was an easy decision to finish up with our photo shoot there. Just before Mother Nature's forces started to claim the beach, we took the advice of the lifeguard and exited the beach while the high tide was pushing in a little too vigorously for comfort. This beach location made the news the following day, due to the high surf that battered the California coast, hitting particularly hard in Ventura where we shot the last series of photos. Luckily we knew nothing of how it would affect the coastline the following day and could only enjoy the beauty California beaches have to offer.
