From Rustic Charm to Golden Hour Glow

One of the greatest joys of shooting sessions in Ventura County is the sheer variety of backdrops available within a short drive. For Addie’s senior portraits, we started our adventure inland in the charming, rustic atmosphere of Fillmore. It provided the perfect casual starting point, allowing Addie's relaxed, easy-going personality to set the tone for the day.

Next, we headed up the coast, ending our session at beautiful Ventura Pier

There is nothing quite like catching the golden hour light as it streams across the sand and waves. The variety provided by the two locations—from the grounded, rustic feel of Fillmore to the bright, expansive energy of the beach—allowed us to truly play with different moods and styles, resulting in a gallery that felt rich and diverse, just like Addie herself.

College is next, and while she’s still deciding where in the state she’ll land, Addie is looking forward to commencing college somewhere in beautiful California soon.

In her downtime, you can find Addie engaged in a variety of wonderful activities, such as horseback riding, baking, hanging out with friends, and going to the beach

Addie, thank you for sharing your laughter and joy with me. Your senior portraits truly reflect your vibrant spirit and the excitement you carry for the future.

We know wherever you choose to land in California, you will thrive. Until then, keep enjoying that sunshine, those friends, and maybe save a few baked treats for the rest of us! We are so excited to see what amazing things you accomplish next.
