I long time childhood friend to my girls askes me to take her Senior portraits for her.  My first thought was, WOW! where did the time go.  Is it already time for that.  When you have a personal connection to someone you're shooting it makes it very easy to have conversations, which leads to a more relaxed model, that in turn will create better pictures.  It only validates my work that I have put in at home to create Client Questionnaires that my clients has to fill out before showing up for the session.  This gives me a chance to connect with my clients on a more personal level and find things to talk about within their interests, with the end result of BETTER PICTURES.
